The School of Pharmacy educates and mentors students who advance the profession of pharmacy and pharmaceutical research to improve the health outcomes of patients and the community.
Recent news out of the School of Pharmacy includes:
- Class of 2022 graduate Tetyana Chubko (P’22), helping soldiers, including family members, fighting for her native Ukraine
- Hari Acharya (P’22), another Class of 2022 graduate, going from a refugee camp in Nepal to walking across the stage at commencement
- Devika Manickam, Ph.D., assistant professor of pharmaceutics, being named a 2022 Young Innovator by the Biomedical Engineering Society
- The Class of 2021 graduates achieving a 95.9% pass rate on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX), exceeding the 83.7% national average
