Duquesne University Athletics has the privilege of providing a top tier Division I Academic and Athletic experience for over 400 student athletes. Each day we strive to provide the resources necessary for our student athletes to be the best not only in competition, but in the classroom as well. In order to continue to provide these resources we in the Department of Athletics have been focused on building and executing a strategic plan which will facilitate greater success for our coaches and student-athletes.
This plan focuses on four pillars:
- The academic mission of the institution being primary (specifically moving our academic ranking to the top of the conference)
- Maintaining integrity and compliance for NCAA rules
- Building strong campus and community engagement
- Competitive excellence (we want to win!)
We have launched this plan to help us achieve our aspirations academically and competitively as well as to commit to the blueprint necessary for success every day. Our coaches and student-athletes have sharpened their focus and efforts to ensure they represent Duquesne well each day they “go to work”.
The impact of your gift
Your support will be used effectively to accomplish our key objectives and enhance student-athlete performance both in the classroom, and in competition.
What kind of impact would you like to make? What are you most passionate about?
These are two questions we would like to ask you and if Duquesne Athletics aligns with a passion of yours we would be grateful for the impact, no matter what size, you would like to make toward our efforts! You will have the opportunity to support your favorite Duquesne Athletics Team(s) or you if you would like to make a general donation to the Department of Athletics your gift will be used to benefit the greatest need(s) of the department.
Thank you for your consideration!
On behalf of our players, coaches and staff, thank you as we are truly blessed to have your support.
Your generosity allows us the opportunity to provide our student athletes the resources they need to achieve higher levels of personal development, athletic performance, but most of all supports them academically on the path to a degree and success throughout their lives.
