Duquesne Day of Giving

An anonymous supporter and parent of a Duquesne University women's swimming alumna has made a $10,000 matching gift challenge to benefit the Swimming and Diving program. All donations on the Day of Giving to the Swimming & Diving program, will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000.

Dean James Swindal and his wife Mary will match all McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $3,000.

Stephan Schenk, MBA’99, Business Advisory Council (BAC) member, will match all donations to the School of Business dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000.

Kevin McQuillan B’87 and Principal at The McQuillan Group along with his wife Amanda McQuillan A’92 GA’94 will match all donations to Spiritan Campus Ministry dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,000, in honor of Kevin’s Uncle, Fr. Neil McQuillan, C.S.Sp A’71; and an anonymous donor will also match donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,000, for a total of $3,000.

Dr. Roberta Aronson, Executive Director of the Office of International Programs, will match donations to the Study abroad program dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,000!

If 50 individuals donate to the Duquesne School of Law the Duquesne Law Alumni Association (DLAA) will donate $2,500; an additional $2,500 if 75 individuals donate; and DLAA Past President Garry Nelson, L'82 will personally donate $2,500 if 100 individuals donate!

Jackie Harvey, M'56 will donate $1,000 if 50 individuals make a gift to the School of Music.

John "Jack" B'76 and his wife Gigi Ouellette will donate $1,000 to The Duquesne Fund (Areas of Greatest Need) if 50 current students make a donation to any area of campus.

An anonymous donor has agreed to donate $10,000 if 100 individuals make a gift to the School of Education.

The Gumberg Library Leadership Team will match donations to Gumberg Library dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,000.

Francis Feld, N'93 will match donations to the School of Nursing dollar-for-dollar, up to $3,500! Your $10 donation on the Duquesne Day of Giving becomes $20!

Gianni and Lisa Floro will match donations to the Bayer School of Natural & Environmental Sciences dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,500!

An anonymous football alumnus has made a $10,000 matching gift challenge to benefit the Football program. All donations on the Day of Giving to the Football program, will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000. This Matching Gift is in honor of Coach Terry Russell who had such a positive influence on his life during his playing days at Duquesne and he remains excited and committed to the continued growth of the Football program under the leadership of Head Coach Jerry Schmitt.

Dean Seth Beckman will match all School of Music donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,500.

If 100 current parents of a Duquesne student make a gift of any amount, to any designation on the Day of Giving, an anonymous Parents’ Leadership Council family will make a $2,000 gift to the University. If 200 current parents make a gift, they will increase their gift to Duquesne to $4,000!

Heritage Valley Health System will donate $1,000 if 120 individuals make a donation to the School of Nursing.

Jeremy, B ’99, MBA ’00, JD ’00 and Colleen Hartzell E’98 and Family will make a $1,000 donation if 75 individuals who graduated within the last 3 years (Classes of 2015, 2016 and 2017) make a gift on the Day of Giving.
