Your generosity empowers global learning!
Duquesne University recognizes the positive impact of study abroad experiences, driving students to become more intellectually aware, culturally sensitive, and professionally prepared to become global citizens and leaders in their careers and communities.
Duquesne offers semester-long programs at our flagship programs abroad including our very own Duquesne campus in Rome and our Global Study Center in Dublin, as well as other exciting locations around the world. A wide range of short-term experiences are also available lasting from a week during Spring Break to a month-long "Maymester" summer program in Europe, Africa, Latin America, or Asia.
Duquesne in Dublin Global Study Center – 10 years of celebrations continue!
Spring 2024 continues the celebrations of our 10th anniversary in the Irish capital! In 2013, Duquesne opened its Duquesne in Dublin program in the heart of the Irish capital, which has hosted hundreds of Duquesne students who have studied at University College Dublin for a semester, as well as short-term study abroad programs like international internships, Irish literature summer programs, and a very popular Health Science Summer school experience for Duquesne Nursing and Health Science majors.
The 10th Anniversary brought new changes to the program, including the expansion of Duquesne in Dublin into a Global Study Center with partnerships with University College Dublin and International Learning Academy, where the intimate Duquesne community in Ireland expands to also living and learning alongside Irish and other International students.
The semester-long program includes travel excursions to Galway in the west and Belfast in Northern Ireland, as well as community-building travel activities in and around Dublin.
Consider giving $10 for 10 years to support scholarships for Duquesne students who study in Ireland.
The impact of your gift
Study Abroad is an essential element of higher education in the 21st century and Duquesne University is committed to providing all undergraduate students an international experience during their years at Duquesne.
The added costs of travel can be a challenge for students to study abroad and your gift can help them gain access to the life-changing experience of study abroad.
Please donate to Study Abroad, Duquesne in Rome, or Duquesne in Dublin on February 7th!
